KY EXCEL - Project Information

KY EXCEL Voluntary Environmental Projects

To help individuals and organizations select and identify meaningful environmental projects that they can perform voluntarily, the Department for Environmental Protection (DEP) has developed a list of project ideas that were solicited from within the department and other agencies. This list will continue to grow as additional project suggestions are identified.

KY EXCEL members are not required to select from this list and can propose a broad range of project ideas for their membership requirement. All projects must meet minimum criteria and be approved by the Division of Compliance Assistance prior to their acceptance into the program. Applicants with questions regarding project selection should contact KY EXCEL at 800-926-8111.
