About the Agency

Division of Compliance Assistance

Our division is located in the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection and is part of the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet. The division was established in 2004.

The mission of the Department for Environmental Protection is to protect and enhance Kentucky's environment.  The Division of Compliance Assistance offers programs:

  • to enable excellence in environmental compliance.
  • to recognize environmental leadership. 
  • to facilitate activities that enhance the welfare of Kentucky's citizens and environment. 

Division programs assist permittees with compliance and encourage good stewardship of our natural resources.  Contact our division employees when they can be of service to you.
