Audit Protocols - Find tools to help facilities conduct a self-audit and assess how well they are doing with federal environmental compliance. The protocols define terms, include an overview of the laws that apply to the sector and have user-friendly checklists to help with the self-assessments.
Compliance Assurance Resources Compendium for the FY2008-2010 National Enforcement and Compliance Priorities - The Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA) has developed this new compendium, which contains more than 400 Web links to various types of resources, such as policies, guidance, training, guidebooks, Web sites, fact sheets and more, to help regions, states and tribes in implementing the performance-based strategies for each of the national enforcement and compliance priorities for FY2008-2010. This information should also be useful for members of the regulated community.
Environmental Compliance Assessment Workbook - This tool will help organizations routinely assess their environmental compliance needs. Being proactive and ensuring that the organization is meeting its environmental responsibilities will enhance the organization's reputation, instill a sense of pride among its employees and can serve as a tool to maximize financial profits.
Environmental Indicators Gateway - This EPA site provides enhanced public access to environmental and health information generated by the agency. It is a resource for the EPA and other federal agencies and partners to better coordinate their own environmental indicator work. Browse the agency's reports by geography, topic, area or time period.
EPA Action Initiation Lists - The EPA is using action initiation lists to provide summaries, agency contacts, and other information to notify the public about new rules and regulatory actions.
EPA Small Business Ombudsman Fact Sheet - This fact sheet lists the many roles where the EPA Small Business Ombudsman serves.
EPA's Region 4 Small Business Assistance - The 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments established new regulatory permitting, operating and control requirements with the potential to impact small businesses. Congress recognized the difficulties that many small businesses would face in complying with the new regulations and directed each state government to establish a Small Business Technical and Environmental Compliance Assistance Program to assist the small business owners with environmental regulatory compliance.

Industry Sector Notebooks - This series of primers describes the environmental challenges facing more than 35 manufacturing, transportation, agricultural and government sectors. Each notebook contains chapters on typical process operations, pollutants, applicable federal regulations, pollution prevention opportunities, the most common environmental violations within the sector, voluntary initiatives and associated organizations.

List of Lists Database - This is a searchable database of EPA's Consolidated List of Chemicals Subject to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and section 112(r) of the Clean Air Act.
National Compliance Assistance Centers - User-friendly "first-stop shops." Learn about federal and state environmental obligations in plain language. Look for the center specific to your industry or sector. Examples include printing, construction, automotive service and repair, agriculture and local government. You can also access compliance tools and online training.
National Compliance Assistance Clearinghouse - Provides "one-stop" access to more than 4,000 federal, state and other assistance providers' compliance assistance materials including: training materials, frequently asked questions, compliance guides, planned and ongoing assistance activities, Pollution Prevention (P2) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) information.
Small Business Environmental Assistance Programs (SBEAP) Brochure (Revised) - The SBEAP exists to assist small businesses in meeting their federal, state and local environmental requirements.

AgSTAR Program - Jointly sponsored by the U.S. EPA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Energy, this is a voluntary program that encourages the use of methane recovery (biogas) technologies at the confined animal feeding operations that manage manure as liquids or slurries.
