The Environmental Compliance Assistance Program’s purpose is to assist regulated entities in understanding and complying with their environmental obligations, advocate for those entities underrepresented in the regulatory process and facilitate moving beyond compliance to environmental leadership.

Our services include:

·       Offering on-site evaluations to identify compliance problems and opportunities to improve environmental performance.

·       Assisting with permit applications.

·       Providing training opportunities to help individuals understand their environmental responsibilities.

·       Serving as an advocate for those underrepresented in the regulatory process.

·       Responding to general information requests.

·       Maintaining a toll-free compliance assistance hotline at 1-800-926-8111.

·       Implementing the Small Business Environmental Assistance Program.

·       Facilitating the move beyond compliance to becoming an environmental leader.
